В статье обобщены и проанализированы данные исследовательской литературы на русском и английском языках в электронно-поисковых системах eLIBRARY, PubMed, в международных базах данных Scopus, Web of Science за период 2016–2021 гг. о состоянии здоровья детской популяции и двигательной активности. Рассмотрено влияние ограничений, вызванных пандемией коронавируса, на физическое развитие детей и подростков как пример мощного стресс-фактора. Проведен анализ двигательной активности детей до и во время пандемии коронавируса.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. В предлагаемом материале подтверждена необходимость постоянного мониторинга физического развития детей и подростков, особенно на фоне пандемии COVID-19. Изменение социально-гигиенических условий жизни показало необходимость введения мер в области здравоохранения с целью предупреждения возможных нарушений здоровья детей.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Objective of the Review</title><p>Objective of the Review: To analyse the information on the physical development of paediatric population, including also during the COVID-19 pandemic.</p></sec><sec><title>Key Points</title><p>Key Points. The article summarises and analyses the information from research literature both in Russian and English in the electronic search systems eLIBRARY, PubMed, in the international databases Scopus, Web of Science for 2016–2021 concerning the health of the paediatric population and their motion activity. We reviewed the impact of limitations caused by the coronavirus pandemic for the physical development of children and adolescents as an example of a heavy stress factor. Motion activity of children prior to and after the coronavirus pandemic was analysed.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion. The material demonstrates the need in constant monitoring of the physical development of children and adolescents, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
