Цель исследования. Оценить эффективность использования косметических средств для ухода за кожей в восстановлении состояния кожного покрова (уменьшении шелушения, сухости, раздражения кожи, зуда) у детей в возрасте до 7 лет.

Дизайн

Дизайн. Наблюдательное клиническое открытое несравнительное исследование.

Материалы и методы

Материалы и методы. В исследовании приняли участие 50 детей: 30 с чувствительной кожей с выраженной сухостью и 20 с молочными корочками на волосистой части головы. В ходе исследования проведены 2 очных осмотра. При осмотре врач оценивал у детей с чувствительной кожей выраженность ее сухости и зуда, у детей с молочными корочками — выраженность сухости, зуда и шелушения кожи головы. Оценка показателей производилась по шкале от 0 до 10 баллов. Длительность исследования составила 28 ± 3 дня.

Результаты

Результаты. На фоне применения исследуемых средств у пациентов не ухудшилось состояние кожного покрова, и им не требовались специализированные противовоспалительные средства. При мытье не было слезотечения, раздражения конъюнктивы. На 3–5-й день использования выбранных средств в группе чувствительной кожи выраженность ее сухости снизилась приблизительно в 2 раза, жалобы на легкий зуд остались только у 1 ребенка. По окончании исследования минимальная сухость кожных покровов наблюдалась лишь у 2 пациентов. В группе с молочными корками к 3–5-му дню применения шампуней жалобы на зуд отсутствовали, выраженность сухости кожи головы значимо снизилась. К окончанию исследования медианы показателей сухости, зуда и шелушения стали значительно меньше у всех пациентов.

Заключение

Заключение. С учетом особенностей кожи детей до 7 лет важно подобрать оптимальные по составу и форме выпуска косметические средства для ухода за ней, поскольку при отсутствии факторов риска и при соблюдении правил гигиены удается снизить повышенную чувствительность кожи к воздействию факторов внешней среды, риск развития раздражения и кожных заболеваний. Компоненты средств должны способствовать поддержанию увлажненности кожи и нормальной барьерной функции.

Aim

Aim. To assess the effectiveness of skin cosmetics in skin restoration (decrease in dryness, irritation, itching) in children up to 7 years

Design

Design. An observative open clinical noncomparative study.

Materials and methods

Materials and methods. The study enrolled 50 children: 30 children with sensitive skin and 20 participants with head cradle caps. The study included 2 visits in the office. During the examination, the doctor assessed the severity of dryness and itching in children with sensitive skin, and the severity of dryness, itching and flaking of the scalp in children with cradle cap. The values varied 0 to 10 points. The duration of the study was 28 ± 3 days.

Results

Results. Within usage of the cosmetics, there was no negative effect on the skin. No patients require external anti-inflammatory treatments. Within washing, there was no lacrimation, conjunctiva irritation. Day 3–5 decreased dryness of the sensitive skin approximately twice, light itching was present only in 1 participant. At the end of the study, minimal skin dryness was observed in only 2 patients. On Day 3–5 of shampoo usage, the cradle cap group has had no complaints of itching and head skin dryness has significantly reduced. At the end of the study, the dryness, itching and squamous elements median values in all the patients was significantly lower.

Conclusion

Conclusion. Regarding skin peculiarities in children up to 7 years old, it is quite important to find appropriate variants (ingredients and formulas) of skin management because without risk factors and taking into account hygiene rules increased sensitivity to the environment may be decreased leading to lower risk of irritation and skin conditions. Cosmetic components might positively influence skin moistening and maintain optimal barrier function.
